Virtual advising supports top students on their path to college. Know any rising seniors who could benefit from a near-peer advisor?
Matriculate is currently accepting nominations for the class of 2019! Please complete this brief form to nominate a peer.

Why virtual advising?
Each year tens of thousands of highly qualified, low- and moderate-income students fail to apply to leading colleges and universities that they are qualified to attend, and risk making college choices that leave them with more debt, lower graduation rates, and dramatically reduced career and leadership opportunities. Virtual advisors provide these students with the guidance, accurate information and exposure to college-educated role models, that can help put them on the path to college success.

How does virtual advising work?
Through virtual advising, top high school students connect one-on-one with a well-trained, near-peer college advisor, using the technology they use every day like text, Google Hangouts, Skype, email and phone. Matriculate college advising offers supplemental support that reinforces the work of school counselors and community-based college access providers in an on-demand environment that students can access whenever they need and from wherever they are.

Who are the Matriculate advisors?
Matriculate advisors are current college students who come from all backgrounds and from all across the country. All of our advisors are students at top schools including, Columbia, Howard, Princeton, and Yale Universities. They not only have first-hand experience applying to and getting into college, they also receive extensive training so that they can give accurate information about getting into the college that’s the best fit.
